OUR INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE
Both partners Utkarsh Kankariya and Priyanka Kankariya at Iceboat Studio pursued their Masters Degree in Architecture from Kent State University, USA. With almost a decade of architectural work experience they have worked extensively for five years with reputed US firms like KTGY Group Inc. and Douglas Wright Architects. After working with KTGY at Tysons Corner they moved to India in 2013 to set up their first India office in Pune. They have been training people at KTGY Pune office and overseeing workflow between the USA and India offices for smooth functioning of projects for last three years as senior job captains.
Priyanka has successfully lead different teams at KTGY Pune to develop Revit models from conceptual drawings and taking it further from schematic design to construction document stage for multifamily residential projects. Through this experience she has developed expertise in managing large scale projects and gained in-depth knowledge in compiling SD, DD, Permit and CD sets inclusive of code analysis, developing wall sections and details and producing various schedules.
Utkarsh has been leading single family residential team at KTGY Pune and has been working closely with principals and project managers taking conceptual sketches and developing it further into complete DD and CD sets for single family houses and townhomes. He has also acquired in-depth knowledge in developing strip drawings, lot specific sets and single family details.
